Musa Aman’s debutante son faces off against two women candidates

SIPITANG: Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman’s eldest son Yamani Hafez Musa (pic) is facing two women as he makes his political debut in the Sipitang parliament seat in southwestern Sabah.

Hafez, who is Sabah Umno youth chief, is being challenged by electrical engineer Noor Hayaty Mustapha from Parti Warisan Sabah and lawyer Dayang Aezzy Liman from Parti Harapan Rakyat Sabah.

Hafez was picked by Barisan to contest Sipitang whose incumbent Datuk Sapawi Ahmad had been moved to the state seat of Sindumin where he is facing former Sipitang MP Datuk Dr Yusof Yacob (Warisan) in a three-cornered tussle.

The third contender is Patrick Sadon from Parti Harapan Rakyat Sabah.

The Lumadan state seat under Sipitang will see a three-cornered fight between Barisan’s new face Matbali Musah, Asmat Japar (Pakatan Harapan) and Md Samlih Justin (Warisan).
