Family of woman injured in raintree incident will not sue DBKL


KUALA LUMPUR: The family of Mira Ezva Abd Rashid have agreed to not take legal action against Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) over the injuries she sustained when a large raintree fell along Jalan Ampang on Monday (March 5).

The victim's father, Abd Rashid Hussain, said that DBKL has agreed to bear the cost of his daughter's treatment and compensate her for any losses.
