Beware of scams using fake Palace of Justice letterhead

PUTRAJAYA: The Federal Court chief registrar's office has advised the public not to fall for an ongoing scam which uses a fake Palace of Justice letterhead and stamp.

Federal Court chief registrar Datuk Seri Latifah Mohd Tahar said the scammers would send letters stating that the court had issued an order of arrest and to freeze victims' assets under the Banking and Financial Institution Act 1989 and the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
