‘Sunday Star Says’ on Feb 4 wrongly quoted Court of Appeal President Justice Zulkefli Ahmad Makinudin as saying “our courts are secular and unaffected by racial or religious sentiments” in his concurring judgment on the Indira Gandhi case. Instead, he wrote that “as judges, we are not swayed by our own religious convictions and sentiment over the issue”. The error is regretted.
