Malaysia’s very own international singer-songwriter Yuna (pic) is rumoured to reside permanently in the United States, Kosmo! reported.

Yuna, who will be marrying her fiancé filmmaker Adam Sinclair later this year, is expected to stay on in the US after her wedding.

The 30-year-old singer moved to the US in 2009 and signed with a record label there.

She has worked with Pharrell Williams on two tracks and last year did a duet with Usher called Crush, which reached No.3 on the R&B Billboard chart.

> Model and actress Elaine Daly admitted that she prefers working behind the scenes these days to focus on her family, reported Sinar Harian.

Daly, who has a two-and-a-half-year-old daughter, said her commitment as the backbone to, an online interactive lifestyle channel, gives her more opportunities to continue her passion.

“It’s not that I have stopped acting, it’s just that at this point, I am more comfortable to give my complete attention to the production of, apart from the Miss Universe Malaysia pageant.

“I am also currently pregnant with my second child, so apart from working, I need to ensure I get enough rest too,” she said.

However, Daly said she will not decline any acting opportunities that come her way if the time is right.

“Who knows if I get a good offer and if the time is right, I will take it.

“However, I need to be more selective compared to before.

“Anyway, it has been a while since I acted. The last was during Hari Raya last year,” she said.

Her husband Nick Boden is also supportive and encourages her a lot, said Daly, adding that she also plans to produce some short dramas in the future.
