Nur Sajat: Discussing gender issues a waste of time

PETALING JAYA: Cosmetics entrepreneur Nur Sajat Kamaruzzaman (pic) has questioned if gender issues are the biggest matter plaguing the country at the moment.

“These gender issues -as if they are the biggest problem in the country? There are so many other problems facing the country. Why not raise issues of economy, currency and others. A waste of time," she said in a Facebook post on Saturday (Jan 20).

The 33-year-old added that stories about her are boring.

“I know Nur Sajat is very pretty! But does it have to be a talking point of the country’s problems? Think about it!" she added.

Nur Sajat said it would be better if the focus was on increasing the country's income this year.

Amid allegations that she may be a transgender, Nur Sajat met the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (Jakim) last week.
