RON95 & RON97 down 1 sen, diesel up 3 sen

PETALING JAYA: Fuel prices have gone down for the last week of December, except for diesel prices which are up by three sen.

The price of RON95 has went down one sen to RM2.26 per litre, while RON97 has gone down by one sen to RM2.53 per litre.

Meanwhile, the price of diesel went up by three sen to RM2.26 per litre.

The new prices, which were announced on RTM1 on Wednesday evening, will take effect from 12.01am on Dec 28 until Jan 3, 2018. 

The weekly fuel pricing mechanism came into effect in April this year and the prices of petrol and diesel had been placed on a managed monthly float system since Dec 1, 2014 following the removal of fuel subsidies
