GEORGE TOWN: A downpour failed to dampen the state-level Maulidur Rasul (Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday) celebration.

The parade proceeded in the rain from the Kapitan Keling Mosque and passing through Penang Road, Transfer Road, Burmah Road, and back to the mosque yesterday.
