KOTA KINABALU: Three Filipino women have been arrested at a reflexology centre here over suspicions of prostitution.

The women aged 23, 28 and 40 were nabbed from a reflexology center in the city during an Ops Noda raid on Tuesday.

Kota Kinabalu police chief Asst Comm M. Chandra said on Wednesday that the women were all undocumented and were working without permits.

"We conducted a raid on several massage parlours around the city between 5pm and 6.30pm and found the three suspects in one of them," he said.

He said the women will be investigated under the Immigration Act for working without a valid permit and for not possessing any travel documents.

ACP Chandra urged the public to report to their nearest police stations if they suspect or know of any illegal and suspicious activity in their area.
