Boy trapped in drain culvert rescued

KUCHING: Fire and Rescue Department personnel from Petra Jaya rushed to rescue a 10-year-old boy who was trapped inside a drain culvert on Monday.

The state Bomba said it was alerted over the 6pm incident in front of SK Semerah Padi in the Petra Jaya housing area, about 15km from here, by members of the public.
