Waiter held for statutory rape

SIBU: A 17-year-old youth has been arrested for raping an underage girl.

Sibu OCPD Asst Comm Zailanni Amit said although the suspect and the 14-year-old girl had consensual sex, it was still considered rape under Section 376 of the Penal Code.
