Descendants of Independence leaders make their mark


KUALA LUMPUR: The descendants of the three great leaders who were instrumental in making Malaya’s Independence a reality gathered here to make their mark on the longest mural in Malaysia.

Sharifah Intan Syed Hussein, a granddaughter of Tunku Abdul Rahman, Tun Tan Cheng Lock’s granddaughter Datin Paduka Tan Siok Choo and Tun V.T. Sambanthan’s daughter Deva Kunjari Sambanthan left their palm prints on the wall at Jalan Genting Klang.
