KOTA KINABALU: A police inspector was arrested after he was caught receiving money so that no action would be taken against a loan shark in Lahad Datu.

State Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) director Datuk Sazali Salbi said the 34-year-old inspector was arrested after he received RM2,000 from the loan shark on Aug 21.
