KUALA LUMPUR: The massive counter-terrorism swoop in the city centre marked the first time radioactive monitoring devices were used in such an operation.

Atomic Energy Licensing Board technical officer Mohd Irwan Effendi Mohd Nordin, who was on the ground during yesterday’s joint raids, said his department provided three types of monitoring devices for the operation.
