Chuping Valley industrial hub to change face of Perlis

PADANG BESAR: Once a vast sugar cane field stretching to the horizon, Chuping Valley will now ‘grow’ 12,500 jobs with a gross national income of RM2.58bil by 2025.

Raja of Perlis Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Syed Putra Jamalullail said the Chuping Valley Industrial Area (CVIA) was a high-impact project that would transform Perlis into a high-income industrial state.
