Former Gerakan MP dies at age 81

Served one term: Rajasingam contested and won the Jelutong parliamentary seat in 1974.

GEORGE TOWN: Prominent lawyer and former Gerakan MP Datuk R. Rajasingam has passed away at the age of 81 due to a lung infection.

Rajasingam, who had been unwell for some time, complained of being tired on Monday to his daughter Dr R. Daghni, and had told her that he wanted to rest.
