Kota Baru Municipal Council to brief Chinese guilds over poster ruling

KOTA BARU: The Kota Baru Municipal Councilwill arrange a meeting with Chinese guilds to explain the state’s strict code on posters following the latest incident where a pharmacy was slapped with a summons for displaying a poster of a model who “exposed her aurat (modesty)”.

Its president Zamri Ismail (pic) said there was an understanding between retailers and the council that no indecent posters are allowed to be exhibited at their premises.
