Mastura defends decision


KUALA KANGSAR: The by-election campaign officially kicked off with Barisan Nasional candidate Datin Mastura Mohd Yazid defending her decision to accept her candidacy, saying that she has faith in her election machinery.

Allowing reporters into her home for the first time, the widow of the late Kuala Kangsar MP Datuk Wan Mohammad Khai-ril Anuar Wan Ahmad said she had discussed with her children before agreeing to contest.
