‘Workforce should have more diversity’


KUALA LUMPUR: Include more women, vocationally skilled and the disabled in the workforce to stay ahead of the curve, Minister of Youth and Sports Khairy Jamaluddin told a roomful of captains of industry.

In a special keynote address at the second Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi Human Capital Summit themed “Enhancing Human Capital for a Competitive Economy” yesterday, he said Malaysia’s ranking in the World Economic Forum’s Human Capital Index fell to number 52 out of 124 countries in 2015, from 22 of 122 countries in 2013.
