Service runner saves another man on Penang Bridge


GEORGE TOWN: The 23-year-old man sat at the edge of Penang Bridge near the mid-span with his legs dangling over the sea.

“I stopped my motorcycle and stood beside him. I asked him what happened. He talked about his quarrel with family members,” said tow truck service runner Tan Chin Leong. “He had he quit his job and couldn’t find a new one. He felt sad and useless. He wanted to end his life.”
