MIRI: Sarawak is seen by the Federal Government as a top-priority partner in Malaysia and this is why huge sums of money are channelled towards making the state as developed as the peninsula, said Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai.
Announcing an allocation of RM285mil to expand Miri Airport into an international airport here yesterday, he said Sarawak played a crucial role in the social and economic development of the whole country.
