KUALA LUMPUR: Bahasa Melayu lessons in Chinese vernacular schools will remain at 240 minutes per week, said Chong Sin Woon, dispelling claims that the subject will be lengthened to 300 minutes in 2020.
The 240 minutes of Bahasa Melayu are for those in Year 4 to 6.
