DOZENS of lorry drivers gathered in front of the Seremban Municipal Council building in Negri Sembilan protesting a new ruling against transporting sand and gravel on weekends, reported Tamil dailies.
One of the drivers, M. Jegadish, said the ruling would have a significant impact on their meagre monthly income. He said drivers earned around RM100 to RM150 a day during the weekends.
