Boy drowns after falling into river

BESUT: A two-year-old boy drowned when he fell into a distributary of the Kuala Besut river in Kampung Jerat Cina, here in Kuala Besut.

In the 6.15pm incident on Thursday, Muhammad Darwish Loqman Zaidi was believed to have fallen into the river while playing alone at the edge.
