Two Subang Jaya road rage accused claim trial

PETALING JAYA: Two motorists were charged in a magistrate's court over a road rage incident in Subang Jaya on Oct 28. 

Cheah Jeng Yeh, 30, a contractor, and businesswoman Sasha Farina Mohd Shapie, 35, claimed trial to committing criminal mischief under the Penal Code.

Magistrate Salamiah Salleh set Cheah's bail at RM3,000 while Sasha's bail was set at RM3,500. 

In the 10.37am incident in Jalan SS15/5A in Subang Jaya, both accused had a dispute over a reserved parking lot. A 17-second video clip of the incident went viral. 

Both face a jail term of between one and five years and granted bail. The case will be re-mentioned on Dec 2.
