PETALING JAYA: The Edge has confirmed receiving a show-cause letter from the Home Ministry over its reports on government investment arm 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).   

The Publisher and CEO of the Edge Media Group Ho Kay Tat said the company was given seven days to provide a written explanation as to why action should not be taken against The Edge Malaysia and The Edge Financial Daily under the Printing Presses and Publication Act 1984.
