SIBU: Many residents from about 160 Iban longhouses in the Dudong state constituency have to put up with backward living conditions, said Dudong SUPP branch vice-chairman Datuk Seri Dr Benny Lee.

Dr Lee, who spent about two weeks from May 28 visiting the longhouses, said he found that the longhouses were not only in bad shape but also without basic amenities like water and electricity.
