PETALING JAYA: A weak earthquake measuring at 3.0 on the Richter scale has been recorded in Sabah on Thursday morning, said the Malaysian Meteorological Department.
"A weak earthquake has occured at 07:20am at a depth 10km, in Sabah, 20km northeast of Ranau. Tremors were felt in Ranau," it said in a brief statement on its website, www.met.gov.my.
