Minister: Amend laws to prevent irresponsible adults from using loopholes

PETALING JAYA: Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Nancy Shukri has called for a review of the Court of Appeal’s acquittal of a 60-year-old man on charges of raping a 15-year-old girl.

Describing the acquittal as “sad”, Nancy urged the Government to apply for a review under Section 137 of the Federal Court Rules.
