MACC’s RM560.6mil success

KUCHING: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) scored a RM560.6mil success, freezing 375 bank accounts belonging to companies and individuals and seizing logs worth RM600,000.

In a major offensive against illegal logging and its associated corrupt practices in Sarawak, officers raided 48 log ponds, sawmills and business premises and seized 700 logs.
