More efforts needed to convince top students to become teachers


MIRI: More efforts are needed to encourage high-achieving secondary school and university students to join the teaching profession.

Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said it is crucial that efforts are made to lure the best brains to the teaching sector so that they can play a pivotal role in nation building.
