Passenger not drunk, expected to be charged after MH179 scuffle, say cops


SHAH ALAM: The German passenger who caused a scuffle on board Flight MH179 en route to Colombo, Sri Lanka, is expected to be charged with "imperilling" the safety of the aircraft and passengers. 

Sepang acting OCPD Supt Abdul Aziz Ali said the 54-year-old was being remanded at the Sepang police headquarters and that police had forwarded the investigation papers to the Deputy Public Prosecutor (DPP) with the recommendation that the man be charged.
