Najib: Govt will not appeal in Nur Fitri's case


PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak wants Mara-sponsored student Nur Fitri Azmeer Nordin who was jailed for possession of child pornography to be given counselling so that he would not repeat the offence.

"I do not agree with with the suggestion or comment that the Government appeal the case of Nur Fitri Azmeer Nordin for a lesser sentence, what more use public funds for the purpose.
