KOTA BARU: Two snatch thieves got more than they bargained for, with one of them almost losing an ear after being overpowered by passers-by.
They had earlier robbed a 50-year-old woman of her handbag as she was approaching the front gate of her house in Kampung Tanjung Chat at around 7pm on Sunday, said district police chief ACP Rohaimi Md Isa.
