Supporters gather at Jinjang lockup ahead of anti-GST rally remand hearing


KUALA LUMPUR: Some 30 people, including members of Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM), showed up Saturday at the Jinjang central lockup here in support of those arrested over the May 1 rally.

Police earlier confirmed that 32 people have been arrested over anti-GST (Goods and Services Tax) rally, including Negara-ku patron Datuk Ambiga Sreenevasan, DAP national organising secretary Anthony Loke and PSM secretary-general S. Arutchelvan.
