St John relic put on display

Spiritual object: The first-class relic of the former pope containing a drop of his blood being displayed at the Church of Divine Mercy in Penang.

GEORGE TOWN: A first-class relic of St John Paul II that contains a part of the saint’s body is now on permanent display at the Church of Divine Mercy (CDM) in Sungai Ara here.

The church is the first in the country to have obtained the relic of one of the longest-serving popes in the history of the Catholic Church.
