IS suspect met militant in Aceh


KUALA LUMPUR: The 29-year-old Sabah civil servant suspected of being an Islamic State (IS) recruiter had gone to Aceh, Indonesia, prior to his arrest.

Sources revealed that the suspect, who is based in Tawau, Sabah, had gone to Aceh in January, where he met an Indonesian militant he had befriended via Facebook.
