PUTRAJAYA: MCA has refuted claims by DAP that the party played a role in supporting the implementation of hudud laws in Kelantan.
MCA deputy president Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong said PAS has 32 out of the 45 state seats in Kelantan and as such, could table the amendments to the state’s Syariah Criminal Code (II) Enactment 1993 without the support from other parties’ assemblymen.
