PEKAN: A police outrider on a high-powered motorcycle crashed into a pedestrian, also a policeman, at Kilometre 6, Jalan Kuantan-Pekan, near here Thursday afternoon, resulting in both their deaths.
In the 1.20pm accident, the victim, Corporal Helmee Akhsan Yahya, 29, from the Pekan police headquarters traffic branch died while being treated for severe head and body injuries at the Pekan Hospital.
