Bomba rescues buffalo stuck in drain

Using planks from discarded wooden pallets, the firemen fashioned a makeshift ramp and coaxed the animal out of the drain.

KOTA KINABALU: Firemen came to the rescue of a buffalo that fell into a two metre deep drain at the Kolombong industrial area about 8kms from the city.

Sabah Fire and Rescue Services Department spokesman Affendy Ramin said a team of seven firemen were dispatched to rescue the animal after being alerted by the public at about 9am, Thursday.
