Royal family and court pledge loyalty to Selangor Ruler


Royal event: Sultan Sharafuddin on his way to inspect the guard-of-honour mounted by the Royal Malaysian Navy at Istana Alam Shah in Klang.

KLANG: The Selangor royal family and members of the royal court said they stand behind Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah in his wisdom to counter the strife that afflicted the state and affected the political leadership and sanctity of Islam.

In pledging their loyalty to the Ruler on the occasion of his 69th birthday, they said the Sultan had always reminded the people on the importance of preserving peace, racial unity and harmony and he had also set a good example by working hard in finding the best solution for the problems that were created.
