Education Ministry seeks public input on higher education blueprint

KUALA LUMPUR: The Education Ministry is open to input from the public on the education system, particularly in the higher education sector, in preparing the Malaysia Education Blueprint for Higher Education 2015-2025.

Education Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said that in preparing the blueprint, feedback, ideas and views of various stakeholders would be be taken into account.

“Aside from this dialog session, we will also be collecting feedback through print media, electronic (e-mail) and social media,” he said Tuesday at the launch of the dialog session in preparation for the blueprint here at Pullman Hotel, Bangsar.

The Deputy Prime Minister added that he was confident that the blueprint produced would be “inclusive, current, realistic and can be effectively implemented”.

The public are invited to submit their ideas, comments and feedback on the blueprint to or at by Jan 23, 2015.
