Furious driver runs down trader’s wife with car after heated argument

GEORGE TOWN: Hours after celebrating his 56th birthday with his wife at a food court in Leith Street, night market trader Yeoh Beng Kooi saw his wife being killed before his eyes.

Yeoh’s wife Lee Seok Pheng, 47, was run over and killed following an argument between the couple and the driver of the car over some dumping of rubbish near the couple’s apartment on the ground floor.
