80 conferred Pahang titles and awards

PEKAN: Eighty people have been conferred with titles and awards by Tengku Mahkota Pahang Tengku Abdullah in conjunction with the Sultan of Pahang Sultan Ahmad Shah’s 84th birthday.

Some of recipients of the Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (SSAP), which carries the “Datuk Seri” title, were the wives of several ministers including Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s wife Puan Sri Noorainee Abdul Rahman and Pahang Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob’s wife Datin Seri Junaini Kassim.

Also honoured with the SSAP during the investiture held at Istana Abu Bakar here yesterday were Works Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, Deputy Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry Minister Datuk Tajuddin Abdul Rahman and Irrigation and Drainage Department director-general Datuk Ahmad Husaini Sulaiman.
