MIRI: Sabahat Alam Malaysia (SAM) has expressed dismay over "widespread" illegal harvesting of protected tree species in the interior of northern Sarawak.
SAM president SM Mohamed Idris on Thursday said they recently uncovered huge quantities of logs in the middle Baram region, confiscated by the Forestry Department from illegal loggers.
