KUANTAN: A nine-year-old boy lost the thumb and four fingers of his left hand after a firecracker exploded in his hand in Muadzam Shah Tuesday.
Mohammed Haziq Syahmi Saharnizam is in stable condition after undergoing surgery at the Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital here, said his mother, Zaiton Ismail, 39.
