MALACCA: A lorry driver died on the spot when his vehicle was hit by a falling crane’s arm as he was collecting waste at the rear of a shopping complex in Banda Hilir at about 5.30am Wednesday.

Anas Tawi, 55, an Indonesian who was also a Malaysia permanent resident, suffered serious head injuries during the mishap when the crane was believed to be lifting a generator to the complex’s roof.
