Selangor MB crisis: Khalid can resign without having audience with Sultan, says academic


PETALING JAYA: Embattled Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim can legally resign from his post without having to seek an audience with the Sultan, according to constitutional expert Prof Emeritus Dr Shad Saleem Faruqi.

Prof Shad, however, said that Khalid has to stay on until a new MB is sworn in.
