Veteran writer grabs top prize in Reader's Choice Awards

KUALA LUMPUR: Author and veteran journalist Tim Donoghue clinched the top prize in the non-fiction category of the seventh Popular-The Star Readers Choice Awards (RCA) for Karpal Singh: Tiger Of Jelutong, his book on the late lawyer and politician.

“He was more of a lawyer than a politician and ‘the tiger’ roamed and hunted in the areas of the ‘jungle’ where no one else dared to.
