LANGKAWI: The Langkawi Development Authority (Lada) Thursday denied that the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco) has withdrawn the Geopark status accorded to the island.
Lada chief executive officer Tan Sri Khalid Ramli said the claim was unfounded and that Lada had not received any notice from Unesco on the withdrawal of the status.
